Cayuse: Research Proposal Submission System
Cayuse is a web based software application used by researchers to submit research proposals. This system replaces the "greensheet" process used prior to 2012. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) provides support and training for Cayuse.
Please note: A training session is required before someone can access Cayuse. Once access is granted, login is done via campus id and BeachID password. The product works best using Mozilla Firefox.
What does the Help Desk do if the researcher cannot login?
- Verify that the researcher has a valid campus id and BeachID password. If the researcher does not have credentials assist them with obtaining them or resetting their password
- Let the researcher know that access to Cayuse requires that a pre-award specialist give them access to Cayuse and have the researcher contact one of the two pre-award specialists below via email:
What are the basic software requirements to access Cayuse?
Cayuse works best with Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Safari and Google Chrome DO NOT work with the product. Macintosh users should make sure that they have Mozilla Firefox installed before accessing Cayuse.
Is training provided for using Cayuse?
ORSP suggests that all researchers attend Cayuse training before they submit their first proposal. Training is scheduled by contacting:
