Subject: Email Security Modifications - Effective Immediately!!!
The fraudulent email notifies recipients that they need to re-validate their mailbox due to new security modifications. Once you click on the link, it will take you to a fraudulent Outlook Web App (OWA) page, although many web browsers will display a blocked page. The link has been blocked from accessing while on the campus network. This message comes from a compromised CSULB email account user so you will not be able to send the message to junk or block the sender.
Intent of the Email
The sender is attempting to capture personal and account information for their own malicious purposes.
